The aim of this friendly association is to harness the wealth of knowledge in the 50+ age group of retired people in Troon and the surrounding district and to pass this knowledge to others through activity and interest groups.

Cancer Research UK is the world's largest independent organisation dedicated to beating cancer. We are leading the world in finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease. Cancer Research UK has played a leading role in many of the major breakthroughs in the treatment of cancer in the last 100 years. We have discovered new ways of treating cancer that together have saved hundreds of thousands of lives across the world. We should be delighted to attend a meeting and deliver a talk about the charity, cancer awareness and health campaigns and volunteering in the local community.
