Troon Petanque Club was formed in 1989 with the first game of 'Les Boules' played in Troon on 2nd January of that year.  The Club now has its home at Fullarton Woods and is an affiliated member of Troon Sports and Social Club which has its clubhouse in the centre of the sporting grounds.  Competitions are held throughout the year with league matches being held each wednesday evening during the summer.  Some club members meet each friday and sunday morning for informal play, weather permitting, and new members are always encouraged to join in the fun.  More information can be obtained from Robin Gardiner, Match Secretary, by emailing robin.gardiner88@gmail.com.
