Pigeon problem for Troon sheltered housing residents
6 OctoberResidents at a sheltered housing complex in Troon are battling against pigeons which are causing major problems at their property.
People at Bradan Road in Troon have been fighting for years to solve the problem of the feathered pests.
The problem should have been fixed months ago, however now South Ayrshire Council, which owns the unit, has said there is no money.
Bradan Road has solar panels installed on the complex’s roof and the pigeons have wriggled into the gaps between the panels and started nesting.
