Troon author to appear at library for Cumbrae book talk

Local author John Steele will be visiting Troon library at 2pm on Thursday 25th February to talk about his new book 'Welcome to Wee Cumbrae.'
Co-written with his wife Noreen, the book was launched late last year and has its roots in a magazine article they were researching.
However, they found so much of interest to write about, it warranted a book. The result is 'Welcome to Wee Cumbrae' - their sixth publication and it has been well received as an authoritative guide to the island and its attractions.
The talk promises much of local interest, and will be an eye opener for any one who thought they already knew about Wee Cumbrae - as well as offering a great introduction to the island.'
