Troon Coastal Rowing group wins community grant cash vote

Great news! Thanks to your votes, Troon Coastal Rowing has won a £6,000 grant in the RBS CommunityForce awards!

The group applied for an RBS CommunityForce Award, and have now won one of the Ayrshire area grants of £6,000.

The coastal rowing group is planning to use the award to fund the building of a St Ayles skiff and the purchase of a trailer to allow the club to participate in the growing rowing competitions throughout Scotland. It will also be used to develop the club further and provide life jackets and VHF radios.
