Troon's Mikey Stewart is Scottish Amateur Golf Champion

Troon Welbeck golf club's Mikey Stewart is the Scottish Amateur Champion, after he beat his close friend Jordan Finlay 3&2 in a great 36-hole final at Gullane.

Having been four up with nine holes to play, Stewart was made to fight all the way by Findlay, who closed the gap to just two holes with three holes to play.

But a great approach at the 34th, followed by a nerveless putt for birdie, sealed the title for the Troon man.
